Adult Beginner

Join our training class designed for dogs aged 16 weeks and up! This course emphasizes consistency while building on foundational basics. You'll learn how timing influences dog's learning, as well as effective techniques for rewarding and correcting behaviors. Engage in lessons that not only enhance your dog's skills but also strengthen the bond between you and your dog making training enjoyable and rewarding!

$260 - 8 WEEK COURSE

Class Requirements:

All dogs must be current on distemper (that is, started the distemper series) and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations and parasite free to attend sessions. Please bring proof of vaccination to first class.
Handlers under 16 years old must have adult supervision. Multiple family members are allowed and encouraged to attend classes. (However, at some locations we must limit the number of family members attending).

Topics Covered:

Basic commands (such as, sit, down, come, stand, stay, leave it, drop it, off)
Focusing exercises to improve your dog's response around distractions
Walking on leash
House manners (to reduce inappropriate behavior such as jumping and barking)
House boundaries

What to Bring to Class:

Six foot leash (no retractable leashes), flat collar or harness and treats or toys for motivation
