Trick Training

Have Fun & Earn Titles!

Build your dog’s skills, confidence, and trick repertoire while having fun together! This class uses positive reinforcement to teach a variety of tricks, strengthen communication, and provide mental enrichment for your dog.
Whether you’re just getting started or building on tricks your dog already knows, we’ll break skills into achievable steps and help you work toward Trick Dog titles at your team’s level. With practice between sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your progress into titles along the way!

$145 - 6 WEEK COURSE

Class Requirements:

  • All puppies must be current on distemper (that is, started the distemper series) and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations and parasite free to attend sessions. Please bring proof of vaccination to first class.

  • Handlers under 16 years old must have adult supervision. Multiple family members are allowed and encouraged to attend classes. (However, at some locations we must limit the number of family members attending).

Topics Covered:

  • Trick skills for beginners through more experienced teams

  • Using rewards and clear cues to teach new tricks

  • Breaking more complex tricks into manageable steps

  • Building focus, confidence, coordination, and body awareness

  • Introducing props and interactive tricks

  • Improving consistency and adding distance or duration as skills develop

  • Selecting and practicing tricks toward Trick Dog titles at your team’s level

What to Bring to Class:

  • Six foot leash (no retractable leashes), flat collar or harness and treats or toys for motivation

Our Classes:

Listed below are the starting dates for the classes. Whichever day you start, is the day of the week and time your class will be held for the eight week session.
